Autumn Winter 2026

The AW26 Bespoke Collection.

A considered wardrobe, curated by Matteo Lionetti. Italian bespoke tailoring, by private appointment in London and Dubai.

There is a belief in this city that a suit is something you wear to work. It is not.

The belief is understandable, but it is an expensive one. A man buys one navy, wears it four days a week, and replaces it when it gives out.

Built properly, in cloth with weight and texture and something to it, a suit is the most powerful article a man owns.

When the weather turns for autumn and winter, your wardrobe should get better, not just heavier.

From October the evenings start early, the calendar fills, and the whole of a man's week moves indoors. Dinners, the Christmas run, black tie, the weekends out of town.

What follows is how I would prepare for them.

Bespoke Signature

For the man whose week does not slow down. The meeting at nine, the dinner at eight, and no intention of going home to change in between.

01.

Fabrics

Flannel, worsted and herringbone, 320g to 400g. Cloth with weight, so it hangs and holds its line. Fully canvassed, lined for the season. Warmth built into the cloth, not layered on top of it.

02.

Recommendations

Navy flannel, single breasted. Mid grey Prince of Wales, double breasted. Charcoal herringbone, three piece. Bottle green flannel, single breasted.

03.

Accompany

Shirts. White, pale blue, cream, fine blue stripe. Ties. Grenadine, wool and knitted. Oxblood, bottle green, burgundy, navy, charcoal. Shoes. Oxfords or double monks. Black, oxblood, dark brown. Coats. Navy covert coat. Charcoal Crombie. Camel polo coat.

04.

Together

White shirt for everything, blue stripe for the office. Navy takes burgundy. Grey takes oxblood. Green takes brown, and almost nobody does it.

Also available, our selection of bespoke tuxedos.

Bespoke Everyday

For the man who dresses on Saturday too. Designed for the office in the morning, lunch out of town, and dinner that runs long.

01.

Fabrics

Tweed, Donegal, corduroy and moleskin. Soft shoulder, half lined, patch pockets. Cut with ease so it takes a knit underneath without fighting it.

02.

Recommendations

Brown Donegal, single breasted. Gun club check, soft shoulder. Olive tweed, patch pockets. Charcoal corduroy, unstructured.

03.

Accompany

Shirts. White, pale blue, cream, tattersall. Knitwear. Cashmere rollneck and fine gauge crew. Charcoal, oatmeal, olive, navy. Trousers. Grey flannel, tobacco cord, cream moleskin. Shoes. Suede chukkas, country derbies, heavy sole loafers. Mid brown, dark brown, oxblood.

04.

Together

Tonal, not contrasted. Tweed takes flannel. Cord takes cream. Rollneck instead of a tie, and the jacket splits from the trouser whenever you want it to.

04.

Together

Tonal, not contrasted. Navy knit under the Sahara. Cream knit under the Siege. Jumper Pants take everything above them. Let the texture do the work.

Closing

Summer is over and life is back to business.

Work resumes, families are back, new meetings, new clients, new wardrobe.

We make bespoke suits for men who understand the difference, and we do it because almost nobody does it the Italian way.

This is the stretch where the city dresses properly. City dinners, the Christmas run, black tie, weekends out of town. The only season here where a good wardrobe gets used the way it was built to be.

True elegance is not in being noticed, but in being remembered. Every Maison Leoni piece is crafted to be worn for a lifetime.
